A New Beginning

Like many other working farms, our grapes and our lavender plants experience both flourishing and more difficult years. For our lavender, 2024 was one of the roughest years yet. We made the decision to replant the majority of our rows leading up to the pavilion, and we could not be happier with this choice! 2025 gave us a unique opportunity to experience rebirth and give our guests the chance to witness the entire process of growing lavender. With both old and new plants lining the hillside, the variety perfectly encapsulated the current state of Beliveau Farm. All of our recent changes to the business and the property, combined with our classic and recognizable hallmarks, beautifully illustrated by the lavender on the back lawn.

The young seedlings were planted just in time to kick off our 2025 Lavender Fest Days. As our 17th annual festival, it was well beyond time for a refresh. This year, we invited food trucks and stands to provide more of a culinary variety for our guests, as well as a few local vendors with craft goods. We stocked the gift shop with all of our favorite lavender themed products, including candles, soaps, coffee mugs, t-shirts and more. We brought out our show-stopping White Wine With Lavender to celebrate the season, as well as our Lavender Honey Saison and Lavender Lemonade Wine Slushies. Sipping on a hot day while relaxing on our gorgeous 165 acre property has never been so refreshing!

We are grateful to have such an incredible lineup of talented local musicians to showcase at our venue. At this year’s Lavender Fest Days, we invited Chloe Scales, a harpist, and Renate Kehlenbeck, a classical guitarist. We were fortunate enough to have them both join us for all three Sundays and serenade everyone on the hillside with soothing songs that paired perfectly with the fragrance of lavender. We hope to have them back for many years to come!

This past year has been a very transformative time for us here at the farm. A brand new house was built at the top of the hill for our owners Yvan and Joyce and a new pavilion went up at the Sugar Shack. We saw old vines die and new vines start to produce. New lavender nestled among the mature plants along the bridal walkway. Some old wines dwindled down to the final bottle in stock just as updated vintages were ready to hit the shelves.

Just like the vines and the lavender, growth is an important part of life, and we are excited to continue sharing ours with you for years to come.

Cheers!
